Eduardo García
Mr. García obtained his Business Administration degree and Public Accountant and Financial Strategist degree from ITAM, graduating cum laude in both, where he also completed a Diploma in Corporate Advisory. He earned his Master’s in Tax Law from UP, also cum laude.
Mr. García is an active member of the International Tax Commission of the IMCP, the Tax Subcommittee of the AMIB, the Analysis Committee of IFA, and AMEXCAP. His professional experience spans more than 17 years and includes an outstanding trajectory in firms such as Ritch, Mueller y Nicolau (Ritch); CRZ; and Ernst & Young México (E&Y). He has participated as a speaker and panelist in various forums and has been a professor of corporate taxation and personal income taxation for the undergraduate program at Universidad Iberoamericana (Ibero), where he also served as an examiner. He is the author of various publications in national and international publishing houses.
Mr. García has advised several clients in M&A projects, including high-profile transactions in the telecommunications, pharmaceutical, energy, and mining sectors. His expertise also includes equity fund structures, the issuance and placement of debt and equity instruments, project finance, Fibras-E, Fibras, CKDs, and CERPIs. Additionally, he has provided advice on estate planning and tax compliance, including due diligence, audits, conclusive agreements, and tax refunds.
